Things started to ramp up!
About me: My name is Ronit Prasad. I am a 14-year-old innovator at The Knowledge Society. I am mainly interested in aerospace engineering and future transportation. AI, and robotics. I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with others. Going forward, I am looking towards continuing learning more about aerospace and I am striving to become an entrepreneur/CEO.
Welcome! It’s been an unprecedented, challenging year for numerous people worldwide. This year taught us many unforgettable lessons and has forced us to change some of our habits. For me personally, it was a complete shift from my normal life. However, over these two months, I’ve been grinding and putting loads of effort into my work. All the people who I’ve met have been fantastic and supportive of each other. I’ve been able to enjoy myself more often. This proves to depict how we can always attempt to find light in times of darkness. Now, scroll down to check out what I’ve been working on over the past two months.
WHOOP x TKS Challenge
In late November, my team and I participated in the WHOOP x TKS challenge. We were attempting to improve the user interface and experience through an increased number of integrations. My teammates included Aniket Majumder and Nivan Gujral, who were fantastic, helpful, and amusing people to work with. In the end, we were able to create a 40 page slide deck which included a solution to the challenges WHOOP were facing in the past. Multiple teams were involved in this challenge
Key takeaways:
Time management is key towards a team’s success. Planning, time-boxing, and organization are key aspects of this concept.
Cooperation is vital. At times we had unnecessary arguments and didn’t agree with each other a lot of the time.
Staying on task is obvious, but made a reappearance numerous times throughout the challenge. This is such a powerful concept that can be undermined at times.
Patience is a well-known aspect of teamwork that is the guiding concept towards people’s accomplishments. We needed loads of patience with each other an the topic itself to get through.

AWS Re:Invent
This month, I attended some keynotes in AWS Re:Invent. Going forward, I hope the things I learned here will have an effect in my work in the future. I was so lucky to be able to attend this conference which was available to everyone worldwide. There were keynotes on numerous topics ranging from the automotive industry to ML to AWS.
Mindsets Practiced This Month
Done > Perfect - Completing an assignment is more important than it being perfect.
Appreciation - Showing gratitude towards important people and the valuable things in your life.
Being intentional - Thinking about what is right and wrong, and what you want to do to eradicate those malicious deeds.
Goals for January:
Get more content out (projects, articles, videos, etc)
Narrow down my time-blocks to be more productive
Begin connecting with people in higher positions and with similar interests
Allotting more time for certain activities I don’t normally do
Continue to delve deeper into topics I enjoy learning about
